About Course
Bases and backspots masterclass is a selection of different classes to develop your stunting skills in all the different aspects, while staying at home. Easy and fun drills to improve stunting skills, stability and mobility exercises to keep you healthy and conditioning to get you stronger and to keep you fit. The classes are appropriate for all the ages and levels, because everyone can benefit from the given exercises.
Because the situation in the World is not bright now, nations around the world are in lockdown, physical contact is forbidden and there seems to be no end to the pandemic. Because of that, we decided to develop the series of online masterclasses that will allow cheerleaders to improve even while staying at home. We collected all the knowledge from our long time cheerleading careers and developed the series of Cheer IQ online masterclasses to satisfy everybody’s needs and wishes.
Bases and backspots masterclass is set of 6 classes designed to teach you how to elevate your stunting skills to the next level and make you the best possible version of yourself. In the masterclass you will find next set of classes:

The access to the course is guaranteed for 4 months! How long it will take to finish the course really depends on you, we really want you to have the possibility to jump back to the specific drill any time you want and work on it!
Each class is designed as an individual unit, that is why there is no right or wrong order to the classes. The courses will be sold separately, so you can pick the area that suits you the most or go over all of them, which we promise, you will not regret.
As long as you want or need to upgrade your basing skills, are willing to put some work into your practice and are ready to become a badass base or backspot, this is the best thing you can do for yourself.
The course is 100% held online, on the online platform “Coachy”. Unlimited access for 4 months is included and available all day and every day of the year.
CLASS DESCRIPTION
“Catch me if you can” – Hand-eye coordination class
- Being fast with your hands and getting good grips makes the difference between hitting or dropping stunts. In this class you will learn how to always place your hands where they need to be and perfect grips will become a habit.
“Don’t let it drop” – Balancing the flyer class
- The class is made to teach bases and backspots how to control their flyers in all the braced skills. A basic thing that is included in all the inversions, twisting stunts, body positions etc. that can be mastered from your home without any need of stunting.
“Stunt like a robot” – Technique, body-lines and grips class
- Class is made for all the bases and backspots who want to improve basic body positions important for stunting and with many funny drills it will teach them how to control their stunts. Special drills for grips will add the consistency to your stunts without holding the flyer in your hands.
“Rock-solid base” – Specialised bases and backspots conditioning
- Staying in right physical shape during lockdown is crucial to stay away from injuries when normal practices start again. In this class, we will focus on special exercises that will get you stronger than before the lockdown started.
“Bulletproof wrists and ankles” – Mobility and stability for wrists and ankles
- Because of the nature of the sport (lifting athletes and tumbling) many cheerleaders experience constant wrist pain and ankle injuries through their careers. This class is focused on bulletproofing your wrists and ankles so you can focus on stunting and tumbling technique and not on your pain management,
“Open your joints” – Mobility and stability for hips and shoulders
- The class is focusing on injury prevention and proper mobility to improve your stunting and tumbling technique. If you can’t get to a proper deep squat, can’t extend your arms in stunts or tumbling, have knee or shoulder pain… then this class is a must do.
